This miraculous vision of Saint Martha appeared to an artist friend who asked to see her face "in Christ's Name." After a short interval there was a shimmer and a face appeared which he drew. Saint Martha's image stayed before his eyes even while other customers interrupted his drawing of it. Only when he had completed rendering her likeness did the image fade out of view. Becuase Saint Martha had shown herself to him, the artist refused payment for his work.

The following miraculous prayer to Saint Martha was dictated in the 1940's to a concerned friend who had prayed to be shown how he could help someone beset by problems seemingly unsolvable. He was awakened one pre-dawn to find his chamber illumined by emanations surrounding a Being in white, who dictated the prayer and gave instructions to give it to his perplexed friend and everyone who voiced a need for solace.
Prayer to Saint Martha

Saint Martha, I resort to thy protection and as proof of my affection and faith,
I offer the light which I shall burn every Tuesday.

Comfort me in my difficulties and through the great privilege you enjoyed
through lodging in the house of Thy Savior, intercede for my family that
we may always hold God in our hearts, and be provided for in our necessities.

I beseech thee to have infinite pity in regard to the favors I ask thee.
(Name favors.)
I ask thee, Saint Martha, to overcome all difficulties as thou did'st
overcome the dragon thou hadst at thy feet. Amen.
